Lux Configurable Keypad Lux by Control4 has been crafted to revolutionize keypads, dimmers, and switches designed for luxury spaces. In addition, Control4’s expanded design options include new premium metal faceplates and colors. Lux is available in both wireless and wired options for expanded flexibility. The Control4 Lux Wireless Configurable Keypad combines beautiful aesthetics and flexible button configuration, providing a stunning user interface that elegantly controls any aspect of a Control4 system. Control lights, scene, music, security—the possibilities are endless. 34 button variations provide further design options, allowing customers to customize the simple, intuitive control of a variety of connected devices in their smart living space. There’s no need to worry about how many buttons will be needed on a specific keypad before (or even after) installation. Personalize the keypads based on how your system is set up using custom backlit engraving on each button. IMPORTANT NOTE: 1. Uniform Faceplate for Seamless Integration One of the standout features of Lux is the uniform faceplate that wraps around the buttons. This seamless integration creates a sleek and cohesive appearance, eliminating any unnecessary distractions and allowing users to focus on the task at hand. The faceplate serves not only as a protective layer but also as a design element that unifies the keypad's appearance. Screw-in Wire Terminals Say goodbye to flying leads and welcome screw-in wire terminals! Typically, a standard installation requires 4 large wire nuts per device. Now, with Lux Lighting, the “hot” and “neutral” wires are connected between devices and the ground wire is taken care of by the mounting plate, requiring only a single wire nut per wall box to connect ground – resulting in a simpler, cleaner installation process. Single Baseplate Design Ensure precise alignment of all parts during the installation process using this single metal baseplate. This method makes for a more organized and accurate installation, while the metal makes it more stable and robust. Magnetic Faceplates Featuring built-in magnets, these faceplates are installed quickly, easily, and without the need for a screwdriver. Securely attached to the mounting plate and precisely aligned with keypad buttons, these magnetic faceplates can also be easily removed for easy access to the air gap switch.
